| What do I do when my GateWay system does not work? |
Your GateWay system is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase (till slip required as proof).
a) If you do not wish to keep your GateWay system, return undamaged, the instrument with all the accessories in the packing box, together with the till slip within 7 (seven) days from the date of purchase to Telkom SA and they will give you a refund if the GateWay system was purchased from Telkom SA.
b) If you return your faulty GateWay system together with all the accessories and the till slip within 12 (twelve) months from the date of purchase, providing the GateWay system was purchased from Telkom SA, has not been damaged or abused, Telkom SA will have the GateWay system replaced after they have done some basic tests. |
| If my GateWay system is within the 12 (twelve) month guarantee period (till slip required as proof), and I cannot access the internet, what do I do? |
First contact 080-375375 to determine if it is the network or the Modem/ Gateway that is causing the problem. If they indicate that the Modem/ Gateway is faulty, please return your Modem/ Gateway to your nearest Telkom direct shop. The Telkom direct shop will then further attend to the problem. |

As your GateWay system is a very sophisticated piece of electronic equipment and it must be repaired by an approved repair agent. Please call 0800-746637 for the number of a repair agent closest to you. |
| When I enter the WEP Key No. I get the comment that the WEP Key No. is too long. |
Make sure that you do not enter any spaces between characters and that the correct number is being entered. There is another method of checking your WEP Key number and is mentioned else ware on this page. |
