What do I do when my Bed Room Phone does not work?

Your Bed Room Phone is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase (till slip required as proof).

a) If you do not wish to keep your Bed Room Phone , return undamaged, the instrument with all the accessories in the packing box, together with the till slip within 7 (seven) days from the date of purchase to Telkom SA and they will give you a refund if the Bed Room Phone was purchased from Telkom SA.

b) If you return your faulty Bed Room Phone together with all the accessories and the till slip within 12 (twelve) months from the date of purchase, providing the Bed Room Phone was purchased from Telkom SA, has not been damaged or abused, Telkom SA will have the Bed Room Phone replaced after they have done some basic tests.

The Bedroomphone has three different ring tones each with three volume levels as well as "off" to suit individual needs. The various volumes and tones are set by programming the handset as follows

1. Lift the handset

2. Press the "Store" button.

3. Press the # button.

4. Press the numeric key 0 to 9 (see table below) to set the     ring type and volume.

5. Press the "Store" button again.

6. Replace the handset

* Note that if the setting is 0 (Off) the ring will revert to the previous setting once the handset is lifted again.

When my Bed Room Phone is outside the guarantee period of 12 (twelve) months and does not work, what do I do?
